High Temperature Bearings 400°C (HT4)

GMW high temperature deep groove ball bearings with suffix HT4 are suitable for slow speeds and temperatures up to 400°C. Depending on the application, these bearings allow stable operation without maintenance.

All HT4 bearings have the following basic features:

• Made from AISI 52100 / SUJ2 / GCr15 steel material
• C5 clearance design compensates for temperature induced distortion 
• Heat Resistant Rivet Steel Roller Retaining Ring
• Adaptable to temperatures up to 450°C (effective operating temperature 400°C)
• Manganese phosphate (Mn3(PO4)2) surface coating (according to EN ISO 9717) ensures enhanced protection against corrosion
• Special heat-resistant grease includes base oil, additives and solid lubricants ( MoS2 and graphite ), this compound when reaching a certain temperature of about 200°C will harden to form a highly effective lubricating powder layer (Paste) to help reduce friction, so that the parts operate more smoothly and bring higher economic benefits to the bearing.
