HT2 type
High-temperature bearings rated at 280°C (HT2) are special industrial bearings designed by GMW to operate in extremely high-temperature environments, up to approximately 280°C
HT1 type
High-temperature bearings of 350°C (HT1) are special industrial bearings designed by GMW to operate in extremely high-temperature environments up to approximately 350°C.
Overview
What is a heat-resistant bearing for fabric dryers?
This is a high-temperature bearing made from high-strength steel, featuring a wear-resistant manganese phosphate coating and typically lubricated with Teflon-based high-temperature grease.
The product offers excellent heat resistance; the lubricant does not melt, exhibits low volatility, and withstands exposure to steam during the drying process. Additionally, the bearing is resistant to fibre adhesion, making it ideally suited for the hot, dry operating environment of fabric stenter machines.
Key benefits
-
Withstands temperatures of 150–250°C, maintaining consistency in the heat drying zone.
-
Withstands high load and rotational speed of the fabric guide roller.
-
Resistant to dust and fibres, and resistant to oxidation and rust.
-
Reduces friction, reduces noise, and saves energy.
-
Extending the lubrication cycle reduces dryer downtime.
Maintenance Monitoring
-
Apply the appropriate amount of grease (30–50% of the bearing cavity volume).
-
Pay special attention to inspecting the drying frame bearings and winding shafts.
-
Regularly monitor bearing temperatures to adjust the maintenance and replacement schedule as necessary.
