The track rollers bearings with suffix HT4/G – Gravity up to (400°C) & L/2 (-60°C) are specialized guide bearings designed for extremely high and low temperature environments. The product features are described as follows.
Product Overview
-
HT4/G (Gravity): Extreme High-temperature version up to 400°C
-
L/2: version designed to operate at temperatures as low as -60°C (even -73°C depending on configuration)
-
All suitable for medium-heavy loads and low speeds (120–280 rpm).
Main structure & technology
High-temperature resistant version HT4/G – Gravity
-
Lubricant: Special grease containing MoS₂ (molybdenum disulfide) creates a stable lubricating layer at very high temperatures.
-
Manganese phosphate coating (according to EN ISO 9717): ensures increased protection against corrosion, good adhesion of lubricants and smoother running
-
Material: Chrome steel
-
Effectiveness: Stable work in furnaces, heat treatment lines, and hot steel production.
Low temperature version (L/2)
- Lubricant: Special grease that does not solidify at -60°C to -73°C.
- Material: stainless steel (SUS304, AISI440C / 9CR18Mo)
- Works well in cold: storage / cryogenic
The suffix HT4/G – Gravity and L/2 series are commonly used in the following:
High temperature:
- Industrial kiln trolley
- Hot rolling steel line
- Glass factory – heat treatment
- Kiln/drying oven conveyor
Low temperature:
-
Cold storage conveyor belts
-
Freezing line
-
Cryogenic device
Popular Series & Product Codes
- CF series: (stud type cam follower)
- NURT series: (yoke-type / heavy-duty)
- Optional:
- metric and inch sizes
- custom OEM designer signature
Important technical notes:
- Do not use standard bearings as replacements, as the lubricant will burn or solidify.
- It is necessary to determine the following:
- Load (kN)
- speed (rpm)
- Mounting type (stud / yoke)
-
With temperatures up to a maximum of 300°C, further testing is recommended:
- material expansion
- assembly tolerance
